Now you’ve practiced the F barre chord a little, you can play ANY major barre chord with the same finger position! All you need to do is move this same shape up the neck until and you really can play any chord.
To work out which chord you’re playing, you’ll need to know the notes on the thickest E string, which is covered in my beginners course Level 6 Lesson 5.
This lesson is an extract from my Improver Guitar Course, which covers how to play barre chords, power chords and advanced open chords. It also includes play along backing tracks to test and consolidate your new guitar skills! Learn more here.
