Introducing to the Andy Guitar Online Band Program
Here's what people are saying (taken from YouTube comments from video 1...)
"Great way of learning a song all the way through, not just the riffs. Congrats Andy!"
"And the award for most innovative guitar tutor goes to Andy Crowley! This series is SO GOOD"
"Excellent way to learn how to play our favorite songs! I'll be waiting for more. Congrats!"
Learn great songs on electric guitar, see how all parts are clearly played (inc. solos and fills etc) then jam along with Andy and the band to the full song!
What is the Online Band Program?
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to learn guitar so that I could play in a band. To me, the whole idea of a band playing live is exciting to me. We all have our favourite bands and music we like to listen to, but a great band should make you want to join in and be a part of the fun.
So - that is why I have created the Andy Guitar Online Band Program!
I want anyone anywhere in the world to have the feeling of playing along to a live band. Hopefully, this will inspire some to start their own cover or originals band. But we all have to start somewhere, and I want this to be that starting point.
BAND PROGRAM - Main Benefits
- Get help and support playing along to full songs all the way through
- Learn the solos, licks and details that are missed in basic YouTube tutorials
- Learn a full set of songs, just like being in a band
- Get the feeling of playing along with a live band from the comfort of your own home!
And of course, if you are a guitarist who knows someone who would like to learn bass and drums, you can all learn from these tutorials and create your own real band!
What level is this course?
I personally ensured that the first 7 songs all had very beginner friendly parts on them (i.e. open chords and simple riffs). However this is NOT a course for total beginners. It is intended for late Beginners to Intermediate level players. please
Is this just for electric guitar?
Primarily yes. However, many songs will have parts that can be strummed on acoustic guitar. But to take full advantage of this course, you will need an electric guitar, some kind of guitar amp and ideally a way to change between a clean sound and an overdrive distortion sound (i.e. a channel changing amplifier with a footswitch or an overdrive pedal)
Don't let anything stand in your way of wanting to play with a band!
Some of my favourite memories are from playing live with a band, playing both originals and covers. It was also far less nerve wracking playing my first band gigs than it ever is playing solo. It is as if the stress of playing live is shared between the members, so it's far less pressure playing with a band than performing solo! As soon as you stand with the other members, the burden is shared and playing live is a lot more fun.
So come stand with us. Grab your instrument, and jam along!
I’ll see you in rehearsals! (the videos!)
