C Major Scale and Chords

In this module, we'll be covering the most common major scales in open position. We will then show the relation of these scales to the chords that are in that key. Anyone unfamiliar with the chords in a key concept may wish to check the many in depth lessons on this topic in my Beginner, Improver and Intermediate Courses.

Lesson aims

1. Play the C major scale in open position from string 6 to string 1
2. Know the chords in the key of C
3. Understand how the major scale gives us the root notes to the chords in a major key (diatonic chords concept)
