Welcome to my lesson on alternate picking!
Alternate picking is a more economical way of picking single note lines than just picking each note with a down pick.
There are other picking methods including directional picking and picking the same way as you would strum a rhythm. However, alternate picking is the best to learn first before moving on to any other more advanced techniques.
