In this video

In this beginners guitar lesson series we’re going to learn to play U.N.I. by Ed Sheeran. I show you two ways to play the song. One with the two easiest chords to play on guitar; E major and A major, and another with a much trickier barre chord in there. This is the third song in a series of ten songs with these two easy chords.

I also explain what a capo is, and why you should have one to play this song. A capo is a fretboard clamp that presses down all the strings of a guitar to raise the tuning. So with the few basic chords you know, put a capo on and you can play loads of new chords with the same finger positions!

Here, I use a capo to enable you to play along to the record and play the song without any nasty barre chords. It should be noted that this is a slightly simplified version. For any seasoned players that have used barre chords, check out later in the video, where I show you the full hardcore version!
