Here's a super easy way that you can play My Generation just on one string and jam along to this phenomenal song. It starts off at the third fret and all we need to play is just 33331111. Best thing about it. It is the fret numbers also line up with the finger numbers. Finger 3, finger 11234. Finger 3 plays fret 3 of string 61234, and then 1234 of the first fret. 1. 12341234, people try to put us down. And we just mute, palm muting with this side of the hand, the outside of the palm, and then relax this hand when Roger Dalter is singing those fantastic lyrics, just because we get around.
