Here's how to play La Grange by blues-rock legends ZZ Top!
This song is the definitive blues rock boogie! It's signature riff is the blue print of countless guitar jam tracks that I'm sure many of you have heard!
Interestingly, the song changes key for the guitar solo section. The opening riff and verses are all in the key of A. The instrumental section changes key to C, but retains the same signature riff and feel. There is then a very cool descending riff to bring the song back to the original key of A.
We'll also cover how to get started with improvising a solo over the instrumental section (which is in the key of C). After all, this is basically one long jam!
