Lesson 7 – The Off Beat & Reggae Style Strumming
Learning to strum on what we call the "off-beat" is the number one way to improve the rhythm, feel and timing of most learner guitarists. When played simply, it is very associated with the reggae style. However, if you can learn this strumming pattern, the improvement in your strumming and rhythm will be felt in all areas of your guitar playing!
