Africa

In this video we look at how to play Toto's, Africa. So many recognisable parts we can learn here, with riffs and chords that are challenging but really do-able as an intermediate player!

The intro riff has two iconic components in it's off-beat strummed rhythm followed by a hammer-on/pull-off riff. That riff sounds more tricky than it is & once broken down into segments it's just a matter of bringing it up to speed and getting it under the fingers.

The rest of the song is built up of sections with nice chord progressions, that include are barre chord or two, but a really fun one and a guaranteed sing-along!
