03 Chord Hand Rhythmic Muting

Barre chords can be muted by simply relaxing the chord hand while still keeping contact with the strings, but not the fretboard.
When combined with 16th strumming, this can give some brilliant rhythm guitar playing. A great example is in the song Faith by George Michael
