11 Beginner Level 4 Track 2 - Sus chords
Here's the performance video and downloadable audio jam track for Beginner Level 4 - Jam track 2.
Aims
Use a combination of major chords and Sus2 chords for this track
Play the strumming rhythm down - down - down - up - down
After the last strumming, the 'down', we can lift off the chord hand all together to make sure we are ready for the next chord on beat 1.
To get ready for this strumming pattern, we first strum each chord for a whole bar 2 times round. This is an opportunity to listen to the track, concentrate on the tempo and feel the rhythm before even starting.
Remember we can tap our foot along to any song, especially when playing any off beats (the 'up' strums), to keep in time with the music and keep the strums evenly spread.
