We're looking at the "Hendrix chord", and how Jimi used this in his playing. Jimi tended towards using 7#9 chords a lot in his playing, and it became so synonymous with his style that it became known as the Hendrix chord. Andy and Mike take a look at some songs that rely heavily on this chord (including Purple Haze and Crosstown Traffic) and discuss what you can do with it.
