Easy G Major Pentatonic

We're looking at the G major pentatonic which is just a 5 note scale.

• The G refers to the starting note, in this case the lowest note of the G chord is where we start

• Major refers to using the major 3rd note or interval of the scale, which gives us the major sound

• Pentatonic just tells us this is a 5 note scale

This scale goes from the Root note (G) and to finish this first lower octave it ends at the open G string. If we were to carry on this scale the same 5 notes would repeat every time - the magic is that it's only a 5 note scale.
