How's it going guys? In this video I'm just gonna tell you a little bit about my new lead guitar course, primarily aimed at uh intermediate level acoustic guitarists. Now this is going to be based on the major scale and learning how to. Improvise with the major scale and also other little lead guitar techniques such as things about keys, and we also have backing tracks totally for free which are on the website and you'll find, I'll tell you a little bit about how to get those backing tracks in a second. But first of all, who is this for? Well, this does also, everything that we're covering in this course will also apply to electric guitar. There's nothing here that won't apply to electric guitar. It's just that for electric guitar when we're learning lead guitar and improvising, we tend to be focusing more in the rock genres and more based on the minor pentatonic scale. That's where we tend to learn our licks and. String bending and things like that. When we're at an intermediate level on acoustic guitar, if we're not looking at blues, but we're looking at basically anything other than rock and blues, we have our all our lead lines are based more on the major scale and soloing using the major scale and creating melodies, lead guitar solos that are more melody based rather than licks based. So uh that's what this course is going to be showing you how to do step by step, and you could then just go on to learn any intermediate or even then advanced level lead guitar that you wanted to learn. But the most benefit from this course will be following the steps that I show you step by step how to improvise and create melodies and use bends and licks and things, but using the major scale over a major. Key backing track or over codes in the in any of the major keys, absolutely any key, we'll show you how to do that. And uh that's how you'll get the most benefit, by actively trying to improvise over these backing tracks. So so as I say, this is a an intermediate level, this isn't for beginners, but if you are totally new to improvising and you just cannot imagine how it is done. I believe this course will show you exactly how to do that, and this is from years of experience showing people 1 to 1. Uh, private teaching 1 to 1, getting people improvising over backing tracks and then over their favourite songs. I've done this in larger groups, and I really feel now that I can do this with you guys. The uh backing tracks are on the website for free and you get a free ebook to follow this entire course with so that you can, you know, come back to it and and refresh any of the. Any of the key points when you're improvising in the future. So let's get straight on with this now, let's get to lesson one, where we will learn the major scale in position one and uh go on from there to learn how to improvise and create melodies with this position one and other positions and change key and everything like that. Let's get straight onto it now guys and major scale position one.
