This ascending and descending position shifting lick uses legato techniques and combination picking to create a smooth and flowing sound. The techniques and mechanics in this lick can be very useful in other licks too.
E minor scale
In this exercise we're using the E minor scale, first running up the neck on 2 strings and then coming down across the neck above the 12th fret.
