LG2 Player Study - Keith Richards
LG2 Player Study - Keith Richards - no guitar
In this lesson we're looking at the Lead Guitar style of Keith Richards. Keith is well known for using open tunings, open G in particular, so we're tuning to open G for this one. Strictly speaking open G is DGDGBD from low to high, however we won't be using the 6th string so you don't need to retune that one if you don't want to. Keith takes the 6th string off his guitars so the lowest note is a G instead of a D because he says it "gets in the way", but for this lesson that's not necessary.
