Solo over an infinite delay

We had 12 jams planned, but mike suggested showing how to play over an infinite loop of a single chord, which he did with his Boss delay pedal, setting shown in the video. This create a kind of pad sound without any kind of rhythm that you can play over.

You can get a similar effect without a delay pedal by just hotting a low open string .e.g. the thickest E string, and keeping this ringing out like a pedal note while playing lead over the top. Really cool idea - have a go for yourself!
