The B minor (Bm) chord is the 2nd most common of the barre chords to crop up in songs (the 1st being the F barre chord). We can play this by barring the 7th fret using the minor shape on the previous page.

However, there is another way that crops up often, especially in songs with open chords and songs in the key of D. It is also an introduction to root 5 barre chords. Let’s take a look!
