  • D major: classic triangle shape

  • G major: four-finger version recommended (Noel Gallagher/Neil Young style)

  • A major: The trusty three-in-a-line version or 'triangle' shape options

As this lesson also introduces the iconic opening melody, we can consider another A major chord option

  • 1 flat finger barring the fretted notes - for easier access to the iconic riff notes in this song

The Melody:

  • Requires 1 finger A chord for easiest fingering

  • Use an easy D power chord when playing melody
