In this video
Here's our first Jam Track for Level 1, which uses single notes on the E string.
We start the track with:
Single note spreads meaning 1 whole beat per bar
Using the Open E, A (5th fret) and B (7th fret) note
This section of spreads lasts 8 bars
Then playing on the beat. 4 picks per bar/note!
Focus on constantly calibrating to the BPM or tempo of the Jam Track. We stay in time with the music by essentially speeding up or slowing down in order to match the BPM and then try to lock ourselves into the feeling of the track. You know you're in time when the notes hit perfectly on the beat and you don't hear clear separation between your notes and the track or my playing along in the lesson video.
