Aims

• Play the 12 Bar Blues progression with 7th chords (E7, A7, B7)

• Use the blues shuffle rhythm

Use the jam track as a guide for the shuffle rhythm, listening out for the drum parts, such as the bass drum, hi-hats and snare.

For blues and rock, playing power chords (even easy open power chords) with some palm muting will sound the most authentic.
