This bonus video is taken from level 7 of my full length Beginner Electric course. Check it out here.

The Andalusian chord progression (Am-G-F-E in this case) appears in countless classics from "Hit the Road Jack" to "Sweet Dreams" to "Walk Don't Run." and "Sultans of Swing".

We'll use A minor pentatonic shape one, focusing on the middle octave to create lead lines over this progression.

Tone Tips: A semi-hollow body guitar for example -> on the middle pickup -> on a clean channel plus boost -> creates that rounded tone which suits the Jam Track for Noel Gallagher-esque sound.

Main Learning Points:

• Classic Andalusian progression: Am-G-F-E used in dozens of famous songs

• Lead line focusing on five notes from middle octave

• Fmaj7 fingering as beginner-friendly option (E major shape moved up one fret)

• Handshake angle fingering for future Vibrato/ String Bending technique

Enjoy 'shifting through the gears' of A Minor Pentatonic for this Jam Track. These movements are great building blocks for your own improvisations later on this course...
