I'll teach you the "Super Highway" approach for the E minor pentatonic scale - a diagonal method that's far more efficient than memorising all five traditional positions (but this leads to connecting scales - very useful!).
This technique uses the guitar's dots and position markers as guides while moving through four complete octaves of the scale.
Key learning points:
• Diagonal movement using fretboard dots with 2 & 3 note groupings per string
• Strategic slide techniques, particularly with the Ring finger
• Understanding this scale and Hendrix style riffs within, like "Voodoo Child" and "Purple Haze"
• How this approach unlocks more fretboard access than single-position playing
• Building speed and accuracy by using correct fingers with easy movements
