This last Monday Live of Fraser's 3 week residency (not quite Vegas but the north of England!) is going to be based on Lead Guitar. Not just scales but exploring how technique we already know can apply to lead playing right away and an awareness of general musicianship can take us very far too.
The aim will be to keep the session as light as possible, with plenty playing so there's more audible examples. Plus, keeping on eye on when single note playing techniques can be applied to a chord playing context (passing notes, small riffs between chords, etc) as many skills are transferable both ways from Acoustic to Electric, Lead to Rhythm.
