In this video

Unison bends are a great way to add electricity to a solo! This is when we play two notes, and bend the lower one up to the same pitch as the higher one. It gives a real "tearing" sound, and adds texture to the notes being played.

Lesson aims

  1. Learn to bend accurately to make sure the bent note matches the higher note
  2. Use your other fingers to support your bending finger
  3. Try this technique on different string pairs and in different positions on the neck
