A Minor Pentatonic - Connecting Shapes 2

In this video

Following on from the previous lesson, here we're looking at ways to use octaves with Minor Pentatonic licks to move around the neck. This time we're looking at octaves starting from string 5 instead of string 6.

Key points

  • Find the octaves of A starting from string 5 - you can use a power chord shape to find these
  • The notes around each octave are the same relative to the octave's position
