Pick raking is an excellent way to add some weight to your playing! By playing some muted strings along with the note we want, we can give that note a really thick, chunky sound.

Lesson aims

  1. Focus on using your left hand to mute the strings
  2. Learn to brush the pick downward across the muted strings
  3. Try using your left hand thumb to mute the thickest one or two strings
