Pick raking is an excellent way to add some weight to your playing! By playing some muted strings along with the note we want, we can give that note a really thick, chunky sound.
Lesson aims
- Focus on using your left hand to mute the strings
- Learn to brush the pick downward across the muted strings
- Try using your left hand thumb to mute the thickest one or two strings
