In this beginners guitar lesson, we look at how to play Mull Of Kintyre by Paul McCartney and Wings. This song uses the chords A, D and G (Though we do go to an E chord in this song too, but only for 1 beat in the entire song... )

Strumming wise we cover 2 very common concepts in this video. The first is root notes, which is the lowest note in a chord and is also the same letter name as the chord and gives the chord it's name. E.g. the root note of an A chord is the open A string.

We also cover triplet strumming. This is where we strum 3 times per beat rather than 2. In this song, which for one bar would look like this.
