Andy Guitar - Electric Rock Lead Guitar EBOOK
This course presumes that you already know position 1 of the minor pentatonic scale by now (Level 7 Lesson 5 of my Beginners Course covers it in detail).
We can extend this scale by including notes that are lower and higher than this one position allows. We are still using notes from this scale, and extensions include no extra letters, this is still just a 5 note scale.
The TAB and scale diagram below show how we can extend this scale. We can play notes higher and lower in pitch than position 1 alone allows, but we are still playing the same scale of notes!
