With the release of my Home Recording course, I've had a lot of messages about how to get started with songwriting.
I've done a few of videos on this before (all of them below) and I plan on doing a full course on songwriting later this year. However, I wanted to get something to help you guys asap, which made me remember this video from 2019!
This was a long form chat with George Holiday, songwriting teacher at Waterbear Music College in Brighton and founder of Made On The Road productions. I was asked questions about how I got started songwriting and also what I've learned from analysing 1000s of songs over the years from research and teaching.
