The G major lesson covers the full fretboard in the key of G, connecting chord shapes, scale positions and song examples in a way that makes the key feel like home.
Starting with G major pentatonic and its relationship to E minor pentatonic (same notes, different starting point), the lesson works through all the ways to play a G chord, from open chord and bar chord through to triad shapes and Hendrix/Frusciante-style embellishments up the neck.
From there the CAGED system in G is laid out in full, G through to A shape, with practical song applications for each position. Boom chicka strumming gets its own section, using Blowin' in the Wind to show how the root-down picking pattern works and how to mix it with major scale notes.
