In this lesson we're covering Shape 5 of the E Minor Pentatonic scale. This one starts on the 10th fret of string 6, and every string plays either the 9th or 10th fret followed by the 12th fret.

  • Start on the root note of Shape 1 and move up 5 positions on string 6 to Shape 5
  • This shape overlaps with the octave of Shape 1, which starts at the 12th fret
